Eye shadow colours that complement your eyes

Hello everyone!

Do you know which eye shadow colours make your eyes pop?   It's super easy.  You want to choose colours that will complement your natural eye colour.

Let’s take a look at the colour wheel...

Complementary colours are directly opposite each other on the colour wheel.

Tips for BLUE eyes:

You want to stick with colours in the orange family. This doesn't necessarily mean you need to use orange.  Just stick with earth tones.  Gold, copper, and bronze are a great choice for you.

Tips for GREEN & HAZEL eyes:
You want to rock colours close to red.  Yes, I know, red and green is totally "Christmassy".  Pink, lilac, and other shades of red can work for you.  Another colour that really makes green eyes pop is purple.  Different shades of purple look good on different skin tones.  If you still want your green eyes to pop but look more natural, earth tones are a good way to go.

Tips for BROWN eyes:

If you have brown eyes (like me), you have a wide range of eye shadow colours to choose from.  You can wear almost every colour on the colour wheel.  Of course, not all of them will look good next to your skin tone.  Colours that will make your eyes pop include green, pink, and blue.

What eye shadow colours do you love to wear?
