Have you been using bobby pins the wrong way?

Hello everyone!

Did you know that there is a right way, and consequently a wrong way, to use a bobby pin?  I recently learned that the correct way to insert a bobby pin in your hair is with the wavy side down!  It turns out; I've been wearing bobby pins the wrong way my entire life.

The wavy side is designed to grip your hair in place and the flat side is meant to push it down and hold it in place (duh!).  If you have a hard time keeping your bobby pins in place, try flipping them over.  Make sure the wavy side is facing down, against your head.  The straight side is slicker and won't grip as well as the wavy, more textured side.  This makes perfect sense, right?
Have you been using bobby pins the wrong way too?   Leave a comment and let me know!
