Primer 101

Image
Hello everyone! Make-up primer is one of those beauty products that can make a big difference in the look and wear of your make-up.   It preps your skin for make-up and creates a smooth base.   Even if you are happy with the foundation you are currently using, a layer of primer underneath can bring it to a whole new level . Blend:  A little primer goes a long way, so apply a pea sized amount with your fingertips and starting in the centre of the face, work your way out.  You can also apply the product with a damp foundation wedge sponge.   Be sure you cover all areas as evenly as possible, use a little extra in places where your make-up tends to wear off quickly, such

Hair buns and ponytails are good at keeping hair out of your face, but they can also cause major damage.   Tight hairstyles can add stress to hair follicles, causing breakage.   You should try to keep tight styles to a minimum.   I am currently working on this.   If you are anything like me, here are a few tips that will help: Upgrade your hair bands Removing hair elastics often leads to breakage.  When you must tie your hair, opt for   hair ties  that slide easily out of hair.  Look for metal-free elastics, which help to prevent breakage.  I'm currently loving the spring hair bands .  They are even save to use on my curly hair! Wear it loose Make sure it's not too tight and it's loosely secured with a hair band. Switch it up Consistently tying your hair in the same s

The best brushes for your hair

Image
This post is brought to you by Mont Bleu . All opinions are 100% mine. Hello everyone! Hairbrushes are an essential cosmetic tool.  As you may know, the best brushes for your hair are considered to be those with natural boar bristles.   Boar bristles are easier on hair than cheap plastic brushes.  Plastic hairbrushes aren't necessarily bad for your hair but they just don't benefit hair as much as natural bristles.  Boar bristles have the same structure as our hair.  They distribute natural oils, polish hair, and smooth the cuticle.  The bristles also gently massage your scalp, increasing blood flow to your hair follicles . Mont-Bleu offers you high-quality wooden hairbrushes with natural boar bristles with massage pins in between.  Not only that, but they also offer a selection of beautifully decorated luxury wooden brushes. You can choose the right hairbrush for you.  Plain or hand decorated with  Swarovski ®  Elements  crystals to brings a sparkle to your everyday to
